Terms
Last updated 2026-08-05.
These Terms are an agreement between you and KARMA DIGITAL S.A.S. ("Karma Digital", "we", "us", "our"), a company organized under the laws of Uruguay. They cover your use of DesktopVisionMCP, the macOS app and MCP server, and desktopvisionmcp.com, the marketing site. By installing the app or buying a license you agree to them.
The license
For $19, Karma Digital grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run DesktopVisionMCP on Macs you own or primarily use. The license includes every 1.x update. A future major version (2.0 and onward) is not included; existing license holders will get an upgrade offer when one ships.
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute DesktopVisionMCP;
- modify, reverse engineer, or decompile it, except to the extent the law allows;
- remove copyright or attribution notices from the bundle.
What DesktopVisionMCP is and is not
DesktopVisionMCP captures your screens on request and hands the image to the assistant that asked for it. It draws nothing, watches nothing continuously, and automates nothing on your Mac.
Where that image goes next is determined by the assistant you connected, not by us. If you point it at an assistant that runs in the cloud, your screen contents leave your Mac and reach that provider under their terms. Deciding what is on screen when you ask, and which assistant may see it, is yours. We do not police what you capture and we do not provide legal advice about it.
Payments and refunds
Paddle.com Market Limited is the merchant of record for every purchase. Payments, taxes, invoicing, and refunds are processed by Paddle. Their terms apply to the transaction in addition to ours and are at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
See the refund policy for our 30-day window.
Updates and continuity
DesktopVisionMCP auto-updates through Sparkle. We aim to ship security and stability fixes promptly. We do not guarantee a minimum cadence or a minimum support lifespan beyond the 1.x major version.
If we ever discontinue DesktopVisionMCP, the app you already installed keeps running. Activation requires our license server, so we will release a final build that bypasses activation if we shut the server down.
Warranty disclaimer
DesktopVisionMCP is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant anything about the answers an assistant gives you from a screenshot.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karma Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of DesktopVisionMCP. Our total liability under these terms is capped at the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
Your license terminates if you breach these terms. You may stop using DesktopVisionMCP at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund outside the 30-day window.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montevideo, Uruguay, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold in your country of residence.
Changes
If we update these terms we will post the new version with an updated date. Continued use of DesktopVisionMCP after a change means you accept the new terms.
